Sun TV slipped one spot down and stood at the second position with 2291.11 (000) AMA. Star Maa retained its 3rd spot with 2160.22 (000) AMA, followed by Star Plus in the 4th spot with 2052.17 (000) AMA. Dangal shifted one spot up and claimed the 5th spot with 1713.94 (000) AMA. Star Vijay dropped one spot to sixth place with 1608.45 (000) AMA.Sony Sab retained its 7th spot with a 1523.67 (000) AMA. Colors was the new entrant in the chart with 1426.84 (000) AMA and claimed the 8th spot. Star Pravah dropped one spot down and stood at 9th position with 1424.58 (000) AMA. Zee Telugu dropped one spot down and stood at the 10th spot with 1374.61 (000) AMA as compared to last week.

The ministry on Saturday asked news channels to stop using provocative headlines, hyperbole, unauthentic and fabricated information in their news reporting and debates.

Viacom18 today announced the launch of Sports18 Khel, its Free-To-Air (FTA) Hindi channel, available on Prasar Bharati’s DTH service DD FreeDish. The announcement follows closely on the heels of the launch of its pay-TV channel Sports18.

Disney Star India is planning to launch two new Odia channels in June. The network informed all distributors of television channels (DPOs) that the channels-Star Kirano and Star Kirano HD will go live on June 1, 2022.

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on April 11 released recommendations on the ‘Auction of spectrum in frequency bands identified for IMT / 5G’.
TRAI had decided to set the reserve prices for spectrum bands of 22 telecom circles in the country. To attract competitive bidding by Telecom players like Airtel Jio, And Vodafone Idea TRAI has recommended slashing the base price of 5G airwaves, suggesting a 40 percent reduction in the price of 700 MHz bands and 36 percent cut in the spectrum frequency of 3300-3670 MHz bands.

Zee Media Corporation Ltd. has launched a news channel catering to Delhi, NCR and Haryana. The channel ZEE Delhi NCR Haryana will serve everyday news consumption needs via an array of different genres of programs, the network said.
