    In Week 10 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India, Star Maa bagged the top spot in the across genre category with 2541.6 (000) AMA. Sun TV slipped one spot down and stood at the second position with 2435.4 (000) AMA. Star Plus shifted one spot up and claimed the 3rd position with 2373.94 (000) AMA. Star Utsav dropped to 4th position with 2193.61 (000) AMA. Dhinchaak retained its 5th spot with 1734.36 (000) AMA followed by Star Vijay at the 6th spot with 1609.13 (000) AMA. Sony Sab took a leap from 9th spot to 7th spot with 1507.11 (000) AMA as compared to week 9. Star Pravah with 1497.25 (000) AMA retained its 8th spot. Colors with 1479.37 (000) AMA at the 9th spot and Zee TV with 1476.35 (000) AMA at the 10th spot were the two new entrants in the top 10 chart.

    The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has taken action against 15 TV channels since 2019 by prohibiting transmission for varying period of time. The ministry has also blocked 56 YouTube-based news channels and their social media accounts for public access during 2021-2022.
