ZEEL to price its Hindi channel bouquet at Rs 45 upwards
MUMBAI: Even as the Supreme Court is slated to hear Star India’s appeal against Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s (TRAI) tariff order on Tuesday, broadcaster ZEEL has issued a statement stating that the company’s Hindi channel bouquet will be priced at Rs 45 upwards.

After SC Defers TRAI Hearing, Zee Announces Tariff In Line With TRAI Order
After the Supreme Court deferred the hearing on TRAI's Interconnect Regulation and Tariff order to September 5, 2018, ZEEL announced the maximum retail price for television channels, in line with the tariff order, the deadline for which is August 31.
Some of the MSOs including DEN Networks have also complied with the TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) Interconnect Regulation and Tariff order.

Times Network To Launch Two New Channels, Gets Licence
Times Network is planning to launch two new channels in the coming months.
The network has already received the licence for the two channels under the names Times Now 4 and ET Now 3.
The Network’s spokesperson confirmed the news to exchange4media, saying, “This is part of our earlier applications. We will launch them at the right time."

MUMBAI: Direct to home (DTH) operator Tata Sky has hit back at ZEEL by issuing a disconnection notice. Earlier, the broadcaster had issued a public notice stating that Zee channels will be pulled out from Tata Sky due to non-signing of the agreement.
