  • Parliament IT report cites high charge by Antriksh as hurdle to satellite connectivity

  • IIFA Awards telecast on Colors garners 7.7 mn impressions

    MUMBAI: The telecast of the 19th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) garnered 7.7 million impressions on Colors, as per BARC (HSM, 2+). This season of IIFA ranked as the second highest rated award show in the last one and a half year. It also beat its own ratings of the previous 4 editions this year.

    While Zee Entertainment Enterprises announced, through a press release in May, that Tarun Katial (43) has been roped in as chief executive officer for it's over the top (OTT) platform - Zee5, Katial has been involved in the planning and making of originals for the platform right from the end of 2016, while the merger of Big FM was on-going.

    MUMBAI: Star Plus has toppled Colors to become the number 1 Hindi GEC in urban HSM, as per BARC India data for week 31. The channel had last grabbed the number 1 position in week 39 of 2017. Since then Colors has been ruling the roost with Zee TV occasionally wearing the crown.

    BENGLURU:New Delhi Television Limited (NDTV) reported consolidated operating profit (EBIDTA) of Rs 5.99 crore for thefor the quarter ended 30 June 2018 (Q1 2019, quarter or period under review) as compared to an operating loss of Rs 14.25 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year Q1 2018.
