Pitaara TV is one of the Top 5 channels in Punjab in terms of viewership, according to BARC India ratings for Week 13. It's also the only movie channel in Punjab and falls under the FTA category.

In Week 12 of the RAM Ratings, Fever FM continued to lead in Mumbai and Delhi, while Radio City and Radio Mirchi held on to the top spots in Bangalore and Kolkata respectively.
Fever FM led in Mumbai with 18 per cent share in a universe of 12.2 million listeners. Radio Mirchi held the second position, while Radio City took the third spot. Early morning, followed by mid-morning and afternoon time band observed the highest listenership on total radio.
MUMBAI: Enterr10 Television’s free to air (FTA) Marathi entertainment channel Fakt Marathi has sprung a surprise by ascending to the top position in the Marathi GEC genre.
As per the week 13 data released by BARC India, Fakt Marathi was the number one Marathi GEC with 35.5 crore impressions. In the process, the FTA channel humbled pay channel biggies like Zee Marathi, Colors Marathi, and Star Pravah.
MUMBAI: Video streaming giant YouTube will launch more original content on its platform in a bid to strengthen its grip on the Indian market. The platform also revealed that its India business is growing at a breakneck speed.
Last year, the platform had launched its first original show in India with music reality show ‘Arrived’, which had composer AR Rahman as one of the judges. “We are planning to launch more YouTube Originals in the coming year that will be advertising supported,” YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki while speaking at the YouTube Brandcast 2019.

MUMBAI: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued a consultation paper on entry level net-worth requirement of multi system operators (MSOs) in Cable TV services.
The Rule 11(3) of Cable Television Network Rules, 1994 mentions about financial strength of the applicant for grant of MSO registration without explicitly details thereof.
In this regard, the regulator received a reference from the ministry of information and broadcasting (MIB) vide letter dated 16th May 2018 seeking recommendations of TRAI on the appropriate levels for fixation of entry level net-worth of the MSOs for operationalising cable TV digitisation across the country.
